Message From Our President

it's time to honor our past presidents

Skål International New York has had many outstanding accomplishments to look back on. So it is time once again to recognize those past presidents who have been responsible for those accomplishments while on their watch.

To be president takes dedication, devotion and determination to lead and set the right course for the membership. It also takes time. Time away from work, family and relaxation. The time we take once a year to show our appreciation is little enough to ask, and never enough to express our gratitude.

I believe it is incumbent on every member of our club to thank the past presidents for all they have done by attending the Thursday, May 24th lunch meeting which honors them. We have a wonderful new location, The Lamb's Club, which is not only a stately venue befitting the occasion, but is centrally located on 44th Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.

Please go to the events page of this website and register today for this luncheon. Be sure to bring any company materials with you to place on our networking table, along with a guest who could be a future club member.

News and Noteworthy

2013 World Congress Update

It's official! The contract has been signed, sealed and delivered. We'll be sailing on the Carnival Glory for our 2013 World Congress, departing on a New England itinerary on September 28, 2013 for 7 days. We'll be offering pre-post tours around the New York region. Cabins will go on sale the final day of the 2012 Seoul World Congress. Stay tuned to the 2013 SKAL World Congress Facebook group for more updates!

NYASTA SUMMER FESTIVAL IS A DAY OF FUN -

One of the highlights of the summer has always been the NYASTA SUMMER FESTIVAL. Ralph Vasami has once again coordinated a great day of golf, cocktails, dinner, dancing and drawings for wonderful prizes.
