To “Connect Tourism Globally” through Skål by creating a strong alliance between education and the professional business world that is mutually beneficial by providing students with real-life experiences and wisdom as they launch into the working world while at the same time providing Skål and the business world with a strong pool of talent.

As Skål is “aging out,” we need young, talented individuals to keep this dynamic organization moving towards the future. The Skål members need talented Hospitality students for internship programs and as future employees. Students seek these opportunities to gain access to the business world.

Project Future will align Hospitality Students with professional members of Skål International to further advance their college career thus paving the way for students to effectively make it into the working world of Hospitality through internships, mentorships, and a variety of other programs.

• Assist universities and colleges with their goal of better engagement between students and professionals. Skål effectively opens up a network of nearly 12,000 members in 308 clubs throughout 83 countries.
• Provide real-world experiences to hospitality students by meeting professional Skalleagues through internship programs, mentorships, business events, networking, project work with Clubs, possible early notification of job openings and an Annual Global World Congress.
• Scholarships, job fairs, trade show attendance, etc. available for the students.
• Access to a wealth of information, research, trends, etc. in all sectors of travel.
• Discounts from travel and tour companies.
